🤗 Today I went for a run! Again, after 19 days off 😂
I’d planned for two weeks, like I usually do every year, but personal projects—and the passion I pour into my work, too—made me lose myself a little. Not in a bad way. Just… differently. I built some cool things and learned even cooler ones. We live in a world that moves unbelievably fast, and if you learn to work with whatever new thing shows up, some absolutely crazy opportunities open up.
Today’s run was really nice, even though the weather was brutally bad: fog, cold, and some wind. Still, it hit perfectly. I went to Lacul Morii after waking up at 5 and working for about three hours 🤭 But I cleared my mind like I hadn’t in a long time. Because since the marathon on December 1st, I’ve barely even left the house. Basically only on weekends, to come to Carmen, but even there… I worked. A lot. And I made some cool things.
Among other things, I released my first music album. 😍 It’s the kind of calm music that works for running, for work when you need to focus, and also for long drives. Flow music, unhurried. Volumes 2 and 3 are already ready—I just haven’t had the chance to release them yet. The album can be listened to on platforms like Spotify, Deezer, and others, bought on iTunes, and even used on Facebook and Instagram for reels.
Another project close to my heart, which I’ve been working on for a while, is rebuilding my website, which is still in testing. In parallel, I also built an international brand, The Running Storyteller, with a clear direction, a YouTube channel, and some very interesting tools for runners—or for people who want to change their lives, lose weight, get moving. It’s not all finished, but it’s in the final stretch.
Today’s run was, in a way, that moment when I stepped back into the light. Not just physically, but mentally too. With clear plans, both online and in real life. Starting next week, I’m officially beginning my training for Malaga 100k, in early February.
Physically, I’m okay. I’ve “rested” my ligaments and bones a bit 😂 Sleep has been bad, I’ll admit—an average of about 4 hours a night—but I don’t regret it. I got my tests done during this period and I’m fine, nothing serious, everything within normal ranges.
It was a great run and an intense period. Life is beautiful like this—with running, with work, with projects made for pleasure, with love and good people around you. I hope that after the Christmas we’re doing with friends, I’ll run a bit more… most likely still around Bari 😁
We keep going. All the way to the end. ❤️🏃♂️
